Trai finished his homework and focused well during the lesson. His pens to paper and formatting skills have shown very good improvement. He could add and subtract fractions well. Trai showed good improvement in accepting that it's OK to be wrong while solving math problems and talking aloud skill. The tutor wishes the student best for his future endeavours.

Division of large numbers needed improvement as Trai often made mistakes while performing division. Addition and subtraction of fractions with unlike denominators needed some improvement. In general, the student's problem solving and lateral thinking skills needed a lot of improvement. Back checking to ensure accurate arithmetic also needed work.

Trai focused well during the lesson. He finished his homework and was able to do basic problems with confidence. He has made solid improvement in his talking aloud skill. His pens to paper and formatting skills have shown good improvement.

Although Trai could do basic problems, adding and subtracting compound fractions including mixed numerals and fractions with unlike denominators needed improvement. Trai's recall of times table has decreased due to not being asked to recall them for some time. His understanding of the angles between parallel lines needed more work. Trai's back checking skill needed improvement.

Trai has developed a good understanding of calculating area and perimeter of triangles. The student has demonstrated solid use of talking aloud and back checking skills. He has shown good improvement for problem solving and pens to paper.

Self questioning and realising it's OK to be wrong when solving difficult problems needed improvement. There were rooms for improvement in Trai's understanding of compound area and arithmetic. Performing correct arithmetic steps when adding, subtracting, multiplying and dividing had to be accurate, especially for those student who are in year 7. Trai occasionally made mistakes during multiplication and addition steps where there were carry overs. This would need more work in future.

The student has made good improvement on time arithmetic especially for borrowing between hours and minutes. She demonstrated good understanding of the time topic in addition to the content covered in school. Homework was completed which was excellent. Problem solving and avoiding rule dependence has shown good improvement.

Converting from 24 hour clock to 12 hour clock and understanding am/pm notation needed some further explanation. Seeking understanding and pens to paper skills need improvement. Back checking was close to satisfactory with some room for improvement.
