William properly attempted his homework this week and was able to do the majority of the questions which was very pleasing. Because of this, he was able to apply last week's lesson to this week's lesson to take it one step further and solve algebraic fraction equations. William has really shown large leaps in his understanding and application towards Maths.

There is nothing to say in terms of improvements for William this week. Keep up the good work!

William was able to correctly recall factorisation techniques learnt a few weeks ago to factorise the fractions and simplify them. Adding and subtracting algebraic fractions was quite a breeze for William which was great to see!

When questions are jumbled up in terms of what method is required to answer the question, William starts to panic and forget everything he knows. He needs to not be so caught up with this and take his time to properly look at the question and try and find a spot to start.

William was able to remember information he had learnt from class and actively apply it to this assignment.

With questions that required more detailed answers, William tended to rush through these to get them done with. He should be taking more care and thinking through what is required of him to answer these longer extended questions.

William was able to rearrange the subject of the equation and recall algebraic rules to correctly answer these questions. He really surprised himself with this lesson and was able to correctly answer on his own, the harder end of the worksheets. He is showing better understanding in the rules that need to be followed and is making a lot more sense to him.

William initially approached this lesson with quite a bit of hesitation towards this topic. I would like to see William trust in himself a lot more because he really did surprise himself today.
