What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁
I am a huge people's person and really enjoy working in a social environment. Working as a tutor has been a really valuable and rewarding experience for me because I have in-return learned so many things from my students, for example, time-management, various exam-revision strategies, and communication skills, that has not only helped me with my own university education but also aided me to become a well-rounded and versatile individual. I have recognized my passion for education and learning through tutoring and hope to expand this further in my future endeavors.
My Strengths as Tutor 💪
I am understanding, helpful and kind, and offer plenty of time for my students to work through the set-out problems their way until a solution is found/help required. I am very adaptable and can easily recognize the student's strengths and weakness, being able to mold my lessons accordingly. I also recognize when the students have completely understood a particular topic and are able to choose the appropriate time to build up their pace. Further, I always try to make my sessions interactive and productive by incorporating various aspects into play, for instance, videos, discussions and tests.
Most important things I can do for a student 🏅
I believe patience is important as everyone learns and works at a different pace so being able to cope with that is important. Moreover, it is crucial that a tutor is open-minded and non-judgemental as the concept of learning is different for everyone. Further, a tutor should be organized and behave professionally to set out the aura of a good role model for younger kids and to be more efficient at what they do.
