What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁
Helping students gain confidence in their learning abilities is very rewarding. Seeing their growth overtime makes me feel accomplished and proud for making a difference.
My Strengths as Tutor 💪
I get along with students really well as I am patient and ready to listen to their needs and adopt my teaching style accordingly. Because of this I have had a lot of success getting through to younger (primary/secondary) students and students who require a little more work to manage and teach. I also manage to make learning fun and enjoyable for younger students as they are just now figuring out their own learning style and therefore require a more laid back approach before they are slowly introduced to a more independent and serious approach to learning.
Most important things I can do for a student 🏅
It is very important for a tutor to ensure that that their student knows that they are capable of improving and doing better. Believing in students and appearing as a relatable mentor figure helps students feel more confident in their abilities and also encourages them to keep trying harder as although they may be struggling now, with the help of the tutor they can reach their full potential.
