What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁
The ability to make an impact on someones life, and to help someone improve their grades and potentially improve their future. I am also attracted to the possibility to gain experience for my future career, as I hope to become a mathematics/chemistry high school teacher in the future.
My Strengths as Tutor 💪
I believe my strengths as a tutor include strong communication skills, strong academic skills, and my levels of commitment. Through my employment at Hungry Jacks and Bunnings, I have developed strong communication skills as I have been required to communicate with co-workers. My academic skills, as demonstrated by my year 12 results and my OP 3 will allow me to give students the information they need to succeed and pass their exams. I also believe I am a committed individual to my responsibilities, with this being shown by my ability to work part-time whilst studying.
Most important things I can do for a student 🏅
The most important things a tutor can do for a student is listen. There is no point on a tutor teaching a student if the student does not understand what they are explaining, or more importantly, doesn't need to know the information the tutor is explaining. A tutor must be able to listen to a students needs, whether it might be that a student does not understand the content, does not understand how the tutor is explaining it, etc. A tutor who listens to their students is able to convey the information that the students needs in a matter that the student can digest and understand.
