What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

In the past, I have used a tutor from Ezymath and after working with them for 3 years I have developed an interest in becoming one myself. Additionally, informal tutoring roles have provided me with a brief experience of what a professional position woud be like. From this experience, I discovered that I enjoy mentoring and passing on my knowledge to others and seeing them succeed and perform to the best of their ability.

My Strengths as Tutor 💪

Clear communication is one of my most important strengths and vital for any form of tutoring and teaching. Additionally, I believe that patience and understanding is a necessity, as it takes time for a student to fully grasp a concept. Finally, building a rapport is imperitive as it enables the student to feel comfortable and enganged in learninig.

Most important things I can do for a student 🏅

Having been in a position where I have struggled in a subject, I understand the importance of a tutor who can provide assistance, support and guidance for a student's academic development. In practice, the best thing a tutor can do for a student is to help them learn not only the method for solving a problem, but the underlying concepts and skills to help them further their education. Most importantly, the tutor must work with the student to build their confidence and to foster a love of learning and a 'can do' attitude.
