What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁
For me, tutoring is not a job. It is my passion. I have been helping my fellow classmates and others who needs help for a very long time. I have never asked for payment to do so. I enjoy the process of explaining mathematical problems to students who find it difficult to understand. I always try to come up with innovative way to explain using different analogy from different sources. The most satisfying part is, watching the student leave with the satisfaction in mind that s/he has no reason to give up.
My Strengths as Tutor 💪
Patience , Adaptability, Challenging students
Throughout my studies, I have found out that people learn in a different pace. The only thing that would disappoint a student more if his/her teacher thinks s/he should learn faster. I have the patient to tutor a student as long as they do not have a good grasp on handling problems on their own. I can adapt with the students' learning pace; still, maintaining the high standard which will lead to a successful session. Also, I try to use examples based on a students background and relate the new things to that to make the subject more digestible.
Most important things I can do for a student 🏅
The most important thing is to make the student understand there is no reason to be disappointed. I also think that as a tutor, I should be able to teach a student how to be independent and think critically. If a student can solve a problem on her own after a successful session, my job is well done.
