What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁
Used to struggle so much with maths myself, i know how hard it is to have the motivation to learn, understand and enjoy maths and other natural science subjects. Because of that, i would love to offer help to students and alleviate their math fears.
My Strengths as Tutor 💪
Since i have experience in working with children from different age groups, I would be able to understand their needs and be a friend and companion to help students on their journey to learn maths. On top of that, I love working with people and am willing to learn things on the go. A good tutor may not know everything but somebody who is willing to go beyond the scope of my job to help out. Having compassion and patience are the two qualities in which i acquire from being a slow learner, undoubtedly make me a better tutor.
Most important things I can do for a student 🏅
I acknowledge that passing on knowledge such as how to use Pythagoras is important, I would love to inspire students to love learning and being creative in the way that approaches a math issue. When students grow up, it is not the quadratic equations or math problems that helps them to thrive in higher education and life, but it is the ability to study, think outside the box and approach issues from different perspectives that would help them. Therefore, it is the heart of my approach to education in general and tutoring specifically.

She has done really well and there is no improvement to be done after this lesson.
- She got the gist of the parabola graph and be able to draw them out really well - She was also really engaged with questions throughout the session.

- There is no overall improvement as the first session is really good. - It might be better if she could give the tutor a heads up on the content she wants to cover so the tutor can adjust the timing accordingly.
- The students came really prepared and got the gist of the concepts. - They were really keen on doing extra questions and practices to be more confident.

Even though the students are able to answer the questions asked by the tutor very well, it would be fantastic if they could write their questions in more details.
