What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

Being able to use my knowledge and the personal lessons learnt from my schooling years to pay it forward to future generations. The satisfaction from being able to help students overcome personal weaknesses and enrich their knowledge.

My Strengths as Tutor 💪

Ability to explain concepts in laymen terms. Ability to empathise with student's confusion or angst towards learning/ results and serving as their friend/mentor, providing an avenue for them to also release other school or career-related anxieties. Not only identifying weakness areas but also constructive feedback on how to improve.

Most important things I can do for a student 🏅

Understanding that each student has individual strengths and weaknesses and adopting a student-oriented approach to teaching. Practising patience. Not only fulfilling the primary role of the tutor and teaching students theory but also serving as a mentor to them - understanding that learning may be a daunting experience for many, acting as a friend and allowing them to confide in you about life/school or career-related stresses. Being able to provide constructive feedback on how a student can strengthen certain weaknesses.
