What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

Helping students reach their goals and having them understand what mistakes they are making. The experience is especially rewarding when students can independently approach difficult topics successfully. I enjoy when students reach levels of understanding that they previously couldn't and become confident in their abilities.

My Strengths as Tutor 💪

One of my most important strengths is having endless patience when teaching students. I willingly work with students until they fully understand the topic and I encourage them to ask questions. I'm also friendly and approachable, which helps students build confidence when asking questions and reassures them that I will help them regardless of how long it will take. I am supportive and empathetic, and never discourage students, rather I motivate them and let them know that they can achieve their goals even if its difficult.

Most important things I can do for a student 🏅

Be there for the student when they need help, and never losing patience with them. Students need reassurance that they will always have someone to help them no matter how 'silly' they think their questions are and won't be judged. A tutor should support the student best they can and provide them with resources to help along the way, also making sure that students finish each lesson having learned something new. A tutor should willingly and enthusiastically assist students and address their areas of concern, also providing extension learning material if necessary.
