What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

Being able to help another person understand a concept more clearly and help improve their confidence in a topic. It is really important to find what the student finds fun and try to incorporate that into the subject they are having issues with - I think this may help the brain make those associations and using a familiar topic to "bridge" information ensures it is likely to be remembered.

My Strengths as Tutor 💪

Patience and being able to show the student a diagram or 3D model, or with geology, there are many places in Adelaide where the rock surfaces are exposed to help explain rock cycle.

Most important things I can do for a student 🏅

Very important to show you believe in their ability but letting them also know that sometimes perserverance is required. As a tutor, you are part of their team to help them succeed. Everyone is able to learn and it is important to ensure the tutor is teaching at a level appropriate to the student's level of understanding.
