What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

I have never tutored personally, but have younger siblings who I occasionally help with school work, and have helped out classmates in the past. I enjoy giving other students more confidence in themselves and transforming their view of a subject. I know that this is very valuable having experienced it myself after having been to a tutor for Chemistry in my HSC year.

My Strengths as Tutor 💪

I am a reliable, patient person, willing to put in the effort to help a student understand a concept as long as it takes. I'm also good at listening, happy to evaluate their situation and main areas of concern before jumping straight in.

Most important things I can do for a student 🏅

Build their confidence; I think once a student has confidence in themselves, and trust that they have what it takes to tackle even a small part of a subject, their view of that subject completely shifts, and most often it makes learning more enjoyable. That inner confidence also makes it more likely they work harder and succeed, as well as overall making their school experience more enjoyable and fulfilling.
