What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

The main thing that draws me to tutoring is seeing the student improve and actually understand concepts. That moment when they realise how something works or solve a difficult problem is so special and really drives me to want to help them even more. Additionally, seeing them begin to enjoy learning and seek extra knowledge is something that I find very rewarding and again pushes me to help them even more.

My Strengths as Tutor 💪

I believe that I can find the best way that a student of individual learns and tailor a program to that learning style. Many students require physical practice, whereas others prefer to take notes. It is all about what way they learn the most effectively, and it is something I believe I can identify well. I also have very good communication and social skills, and are able to relate to students of all ages, something which is integral to creating a good bond with the student, and subsequently contributing to learning,

As mentioned above, identifying the best ways a student learns is key to tutoring effectively. Moreover, being able to make students enjoy learning and seek further knowledge themselves is something that a tutor must do in order to be successful, as when the student is motivated and actively want to learn, they will benefit the most. This may mean not constantly drilling them with questions if they find it tedious and boring, but instead incorporating it into a kind of game with the same outcome as the drills, as it will make the student more inclined to want to seek the ideas.
