What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

I enjoy seeing my students grasp a hard concept as their elation grates me happiness as well. I also benefit from teaching others the content I have learned, as it reinforces and strengthens my knowledge in the subject.

My Strengths as Tutor 💪

My main strength is my age and the fact that I am currently studying the subjects that I will teach in university. I have just finished VCE; therefore, I have a deep understanding of the current secondary curriculum for the subjects I will teach. As I am studying engineering, my knowledge and mastery of physics and math will only increase. This will allow me to ensure my students are getting a quality education.

Most important things I can do for a student 🏅

I had a tutor in high school for my VCE studies. I learned that a tutor must be a supportive figure that guides their student with compassion and patience. The demeanor of my tutor relived the stress of studying and gave me the confidence to attempt difficult problems that I would have given up on. Students at any year level will often feel pressured and stressed. They many have dreams or goals that require good grades. A tutor should make sure to plan for sessions ahead to make sure the student gets the most out of each session.
