What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

There are many reasons why tutoring is a joyful experience for me. Firstly, being able to help someone grasp a concept they previously found challenging or helping a student throughout their learning journey and watching them progress to their full potential makes tutoring enjoyable for me. I also love that tutoring allows me to share my passion for Mathematics with others, whether it be through simplifying complex ideas or by engagingly presenting material for students. Moreover, having the ability to positively impact the course of someone's life is such a fulfilling experience for me.

My strengths as a tutor include the ability to break down complex ideas and make them more understandable. I possess a sense of adaptability, in which I can tailor teaching methods for a specific learning style. Also, as a 2022 HSC graduate and currently enrolled university student, I am familiar with the curriculum. Lastly, my patience and empathy play a pivotal role in my tutoring approach. I understand that learning is a gradual process and am committed to providing unwavering support.

In my personal opinion, I believe a game-changer for students is to have a tutor who helps build their confidence. Rather than only imparting knowledge, a tutor should foster a learning atmosphere that makes students comfortable to ask questions, make mistakes and even question the knowledge of the tutor.
