What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

The process of helping students improve and learn better is what I enjoy most about tutoring. The sense of achievement when the student understands a concept and is able to apply the knowledge is what motivates me and keeps me going.

My Strengths as Tutor 💪

My strengths are patience and friendliness. As a tutor, I have been extremely patients with my students especially when they came across question/concepts that are difficult to understand. I would try different angles of approach and different methods to deliver the content until they understand the idea. My another strength is the ability to connect with students, not only academically, but also personally. I am able to develop relationships and healthy bonds with students so that they respect me, which helps achieve the best outcome out of the classes we have.

Most important things I can do for a student 🏅

The most important thing a tutor can do for a student is to show them the pathway that leads to understanding of a particular concept. It is about the HOW we get to the final result rather than WHAT the final result is. A tutor is successful is the student is able to understand the reasoning behind a certain result/concept. After the tutor explains the concept, if the student is able to re-explain to the tutor how we get to the result step-by-step, the student has mastered the knowledge, which helps them tackle questions that are constantly changing.
