What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

I enjoy simplifying things into comprehensible chunks. I love assisting people and planning lessons, especially working out creative and engaging ways to approach topics the student struggles with.

My Strengths as Tutor 💪

I think I can lend a very patient helping hand, and empathise with how it feels to struggle in a subject. I have been told that I'm good at explaining things in an easy to understand way.

Most important things I can do for a student 🏅

The old proverb comes to mind of: "Give a man a fish and you'll feed him for a day; teach a man to fish and you'll feed him for a lifetime." I think the most important thing a tutor can do is inspire the student, and not just equip them with English skills, but confidence and motivation. The most important thing is to believe in the student, so they can believe in themselves! If the tutor isn't enthusiastic about the subject and lessons, then how can the student be enthusiastic? That's how I see it, at least.
