What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

Seeing the moments when a concept finally clicks and the student finally feels in control of their own learning. Furthermore, seeing these students grow and reflect on where they came from as well relative to where they are now is both exceptionally rewarding and is a vital skill that will serve the student very well in all areas of life.

My Strengths as Tutor 💪

I explain things simply and proficiently. I can boil complex ideas and concepts into elementary chunks and express them in laymans terms. Additionally, I can cater to any learning style whether visual, audial or kinesthetic. I'm praised time and time again by my students for my patience, my tenacity and my skill with which I mentor. I'm adaptable and can easily mould my teaching style to any need a student may have.

Most important things I can do for a student 🏅

The most important thing a tutor can do is to be supportive. Even the students struggling the most always have something they're doing well. The tutors job is to highlight that and develop skills to transfer those proficiencies to other areas of the subject. Furthermore the tutor must be patient. A student is there because they need help and are struggling, it's the tutors job to help them navigate through their struggles and teach them the skills they need to succeed. Additionally, the tutor must be able to explain the content such that it is easy to follow and succinct.
