What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁
I think the most enjoyed thing is to see my students ask, learn and grow. I feel very proud of their achievements and glad that I helped them along the way.
My Strengths as Tutor 💪
I'm a patient and experienced tutor. I know my area of expertise very well. My teaching style is more proactive. I encourage students to ask questions and always give them opportunity to think independently.
I often act as a guide or mentor. I prefer to teach students to understand theorems rather than merely remembering them. This allows my students to understand mathematics from the foundations.
Most important things I can do for a student 🏅
I think a tutor should differentiate themselves from school teachers. I consider tutors are mentors to students in a subject, rather than someone to tell them to remember things. Therefore, I think the most important thing a tutor can bring to a student is inspiration. Tutors should inspire students to learn more and help them to acquire more skills along the way.
