What do I enjoy most about tutoring? π
I enjoy working with children and gain utmost satisfaction from helping my students achieve their fullest potential. I also enjoy dealing with new problems that are posed by my students and being challenged academically. This helps me to grow as a person and also gives me satisfaction of helping the children who are in need of my skills.
My Strengths as Tutor πͺ
My strengths as a tutor include active listening which helps me gain a perspective of my studentsβ problems and makes me aware of the problem with which I am going to deal. I am also energetic, which helps me to engage with my students and learn new things. It also helps me to devise new techniques so that I can tailor the subject in a way that is tailored to their needs. As every student has a unique problem, my problem-solving techniques arm me to deal with a range of problems including those that I have not encountered previously.
Most important things I can do for a student π
The most important thing that a tutor can do for their students is to build a relationship. This foundation will help students to have a trust in their tutor and this will encourage them to share their problems. If the tutor understands the exact problem the student is struggling with, then they can alter their teaching techniques according to their needs. The next most important thing that a tutor can do is encourage their students. If a student lacks confidence in a task then a teacher can guide them on their path and can encourage them to excel in whatever task they choose.
