What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁
I enjoy the one-on-one teaching so I can devote my full attention to helping one student at a time. Some students struggle with ADHD or getting distracted or bored in class, but with tutoring they are able to focus on their work and learn exactly what they need to improve on and what they are doing well. Therefore the time spent in a tutoring session can be more productive than a class in school. I enjoy enabling this to happen for the student.
My Strengths as Tutor 💪
I am very good in the English subject. It has always came naturally to me as I did nothing but read as a child.
I have experience in helping and guiding first and second language speakers through their English study.
I also have a knack for explaining things such as tasks, rules, processes, and concepts in a structured and comprehensive manner.
Most important things I can do for a student 🏅
The tutor must help the student improve in the subject they are teaching. This involves explaining things clearly so the student can understand and are thus enabled to tackle such questions and tasks on their own in the future.
I also believe that the tutor must make the student feel comfortable around them. If it is possible to do without detracting attention from study, it would be beneficial to make the session enjoyable as well. I want the student to understand and enjoy the subject rather than just tolerate it. Through this, we can unlock a new passion or skill the student may possess.
