What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

I enjoy imparting knowledge and shaping the minds of students. Tutoring gives me the opportunity to teach in a one-on-one situation, focusing my attention on one willing student, and helping that student to achieve his or her goal. I enjoy building a student's confidence, and sharing the joy that comes with improvement.

My Strengths as Tutor 💪

My strengths are patience, willingness to listen and the ability to emphasise with students when they are unable to understand a concept. I have devised my own methods of teaching which consists of interactive and cognitive tasks to encourage them to think critically and come up with answers by themselves. I have the ability to build meaningful rapport with my students to create a safe, positive and productive learning environment. Being flexible allows me to adjust techniques and approaches to meet the learning styles of the student.

Most important things I can do for a student 🏅

I have found that several factors come into play to be a good tutor. The most important things I can do as tutor is to build strong, personal relationships with my students, to learn their strengths and weaknesses and personalise lessons according to their needs. Being a good listener, picking up clues that enable me to understand how a student really feels, sharing my own experiences and communicating with them are very important to assure their success. As a tutor my ultimate goal is to help the student become an independent learner by being honest and flexible.
