What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

The most incredible factor of tutoring is having the opportunity to build a students' confidence in their learning. What is even more incredible, is seeing students believe in themselves in their educational journey and observing students as they finally grasp concepts they may have struggled on. Seeing this improvement and motivation in students is one of the most satisfying and rewarding parts of having the opportunity to tutor students.

A strength I have is establishing a good rapport with students. This greatly assists in the students' learning path as positive relationships with their teacher/tutor will increase trust and in turn, learning. I am also committed to engaging students in their education through applying differentiated teaching, ensuring that all students' educational needs are met.

A significant factor that tutors must take into consideration when teaching students is developing a positive relationship where the student can feel safe and confident to improve upon their educational needs and goals. Many students may feel vulnerable or ashamed when being tutored as they may feel lesser than others. Therefore, it is extremely crucial that tutors develop a good relationship with their students to motivate them in their learning journey.
