My Strengths as Tutor 💪

My strengths include: -Extensive experience with all levels of maths -Experience with teaching maths to students of different ages -Ability to relate to students since I remember going through the same thing they went through. I’ve had tutors when I was younger who had great knowledge of their subject but weren’t good at conveying their explanations. This is crucial and I believe I’m someone who is able to help students understand what is going on. My weaknesses include: -Lack of commercial tutoring experience (I’ve only ever tutored students privately) - Being too lenient with homework

Most important things I can do for a student 🏅

Essentially help a student to become an independent thinker and leaner. Tutors should work towards the goal of teaching their students so that the students can later on answer questions correctly on their own without any form of assistance. And more to the point I think at the core of it a tutor should help students UNDERSTAND concepts and questions rather than just tell them the answer.
