What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁
I believe tutoring is a lovely way to work closely with students and see how their immense potential transfers into great results. To know that you’ve helped someone achieve success, provides a heartwarming feeling. The subjects I did best in ( Biology, Maths and English) are my top 3 favourite subjects so I’ll enjoy it while I’m teaching instead of delving into some boring forced tutoring.
My Strengths as Tutor 💪
My strengths as a tutor would include using different methods such as pre tests, post tests, often as the class starts I would do some random pop quizzes to see if the student is really paying attention and improving. I would also closely follow his/her results to see where they can improve and achieve better results. Since I only finished school last year, I was quite recently in the system so the syllabus would be familiar to me and I would know what the student should focus on.
Most important things I can do for a student 🏅
Tutors can help with homework, projects or just help the student gain a more thorough understanding of the subject. Every Tutor’s main goal is to help the student with questions, clarify content and provide challenging questions back to the student to test the gained knowledge. The better tutors don’t just do this, they set goals for the student and push them to aim for higher results. A tutor’s job definitely isn’t to replace the teacher in the classroom, they are there as another guiding light for the student if they are unsure of anything during class.
