What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁
Through my personal experience of tutoring and developing ways to aid students through university, is seeing that your personal approaches can help a student in many ways and if not make it easier for them to understand certain content areas. When a student achieves a great result or is academically improving, it enlightens you and assures your making a difference in this student's education. As of the current situation occurring in the world, our practical experiences have been limited, therefore any experience I have had has made me even more of a passionate teacher to be.
My Strengths as Tutor 💪
As a tutor, my strengths are the energy and commitment I put into tutoring students through my motivation and enthusiasm. I am an extremely patient person and dedicate my time to students' well-being. Through my experiences in different workplaces and at University, I have developed great communication skills when working collaboratively or as a leader. I am extremely organised and flexible which ensures tutoring lessons run smoothly and efficiently. Studying Primary Education in a modern world has allowed me to implement new creative strategies and approaches.
Most important things I can do for a student 🏅
It is important to be confident and patient with your student which will allow them to feel more confident in their work. It is important to be a good listener to know how the student is feeling, concerns, or questions they may have. Set a goal setting for a student to achieve and implement incentives if needed to motivate students. Having a personal approach and building a relationship with the student will allow them to be more comfortable and achieve academic improvement. Using a range of activities and approaches to maintain engagement and cater to different learning abilities.
