What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁
I enjoy building a relationship with a tutee, and helping them feel more confident with their work so they can perform their best in school. I enjoyed with my past tutee observing her progression through the work and watching her slowly understand concepts which we had worked on together. I also found it rewarding when helping them study for assessments as it can help relieve stress and help them feel self assured when going into them.My Strengths as Tutor 💪
As a tutor, I think my strength was making my tutee feel comfortable in a new environment for them. I think this is extremely important as if the tutee feels comfortable, they are able to ask the questions that are really on their mind without fear of being judged. I also think I am able to explain things in a variety of ways to appeal to different students.Most important things I can do for a student 🏅
I think that the most important thing a tutor can do for a student is build confidence in them and creating an environment that has no judgement, so that students feel a sense of ease and lack of stress when attempting new problems, content or questions. I also think it is important for a tutor to guide students and assist them to come to their own solution, as opposed to just completing the work for them, as it is more about building an understanding for the student. I finally think it is important for a tutor to be motivated themselves and passionate, as this can be passed on to students.

Izzy appears to understand a lot of the maths content very well, and can definitely be extended to learning more advanced content for her age. Izzy has a strong knowledge of timetables and can logically work out questions.
Izzy sometimes makes minor errors which can very easily be fixed. We are also going to work on long division, and converting fractions into decimals in tutor tutoring sessions.
