What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁
What I enjoy most about tutoring is that it enables me to remain connected with my own studies whilst sharing that knowledge amongst other students. This actually allows me to remember all I have learnt in high school and to put it to good use so that other students are aware of the same tips and tricks to achieving high marks. I also enjoy in seeing changes in performance for those needing tutoring, from the beginning to their end results.
My Strengths as Tutor 💪
My main strength as a tutor is recognising that I have been in the same place as this student, and that instead of asserting dominance in any way, the student is able to share their knowledge to their best extent and be able to make mistakes along the way in a safe and calm space. I am able to resonate with the student and ensure that they feel pride upon their success in performance as well sharing their newly found knowledge to others so that collectively, everyone improves.
Most important things I can do for a student 🏅
The most important thing I consider of a tutor to do for a student is to communicate in a way where the student is reassured that in a safe space, they feel motivated, confident and ease within their tutoring sessions. This is most important as it is best to establish a good work environment and relation with the tutor so that they are not afraid to ask questions, do not feel pressured and most importantly, enjoy the lessons as well as improving academically. It is very important the student feels encouraged in their lesson and willingly attends tutoring sessions.
