What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

I enjoy the process of understanding the students’ perspective on the question/concept in order to provide clear guidance leading them to consolidate the knowledge. Seeing them understanding the mechanism of theorems and applying them to new questions give me an overwhelming sense of accomplishment.

I have a solid foundation of a variety of subjects which makes me a wonderful resource for my students to seek a wholistic understanding of the subject. I am always patient and sees the merit in every students’ approach to a question, regardless of its correctness. With this quality I can truly hold hands with the student to guide them in the most personalized manner to understanding the concept. With my experience going through the exams I can offer practical ways to handle stress, be proactive with studies and be efficient with revising.

I think the most important thing to do for a student is to leave them with the skills and mindset required to proceed with future studies. Whether it is academic curiosity, effective study habits or resilience in problem solving, I hope to guide my students to be life long learners.
