John is great with measurements he understands the rules to correctly convert many units of measurements including grams to kilograms and vine versa. John is also great at determining the perimeter and area of squares and rectangles.
John needs to remember that there are many different methods to approach questions and he's way may work out in the short run but when in long equations other methods will be more beneficial in providing the accurate answer hence he needs to understand that its okay to learn and explore new approaches to answer questions to help him improve. Jonathan also needs to keep up with he's homework because it's all revision work that will give him stronger knowledge and help store all the content he's learn't for future exams.

John is a great listener he understands how to solve questions and determine the appropriate answer individually he also understands all the content we went through today.
In order to improve John needs to keep up with homework to help enhance learning and better ensure he remembers the content for future exams. John also needs to remember that it is vital to go through each step to complete a question correctly as he understands all the steps but sometimes forgets to write it down or tries to skip through them to quickly finish the question which can cause inaccurate answers and many little mistakes.

Jonathan understands all the year 3 content covered. He understands the terminology used in problem solving and equations and can form steps on he's own to determine the appropriate answer for problem solving and number patterns. He can also easily illustrate the appropriate shapes in different positions.
More practice will be required to ensure John fully understands where the lines of symmetry belong in different shapes.

she's great with problem solving, can determine on her own how to approach a questions and analyse steps to the answer. Understands the requirements for both number and word equations in order to get the appropriate answer and can explain how and what she partakes in, to determine the best solution.
Needs little improvement in number patterns to help her figure out the answer quicker but practice will easily resolve this. Struggles with this same issue for word patterns which practice should also help resolve.
