What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁
During my time being a tutor, I have learned so many valuable things that I had never been able to before and grown in many aspects of myself. The journey was not always smooth sailing, but in the end it was an unforgettable experience; and the best thing about it was probably the impact that I had on my students. That feeling of being able to use my knowledge, expertise and power to support someone that was really in need and guide them through the dark was incredibly rewarding. And as they progressed and eventually achieved something, I felt like I achieved something too.
My Strengths as Tutor 💪
I believe my greatest strength is my experience in tutoring high school students and expertise with the subjects that I want to tutor, which are Chemistry, Science and Maths. I've got excellent grades at school, several scholarships and a national prize for Chemistry, and I'm still continuously studying and keeping my knowledge up to date. Besides, I'm meticulous, resourceful and patient. If the students really want to learn something from the subject, to rise above the rest of their peers, I am the right person to lead the lessons.
Most important things I can do for a student 🏅
I reckon the most crucial things a tutor can do for a student is spending time with them, listening, sympathising, effectively communicating and building connections with them. School curriculum is not designed for any particular students, so many of them can't study the way they find the most suitable and easiest for them, resulting in the need for private tutors. For that reason, a good tutor is someone who can truly understand their student, personalise the learning experience and accompany them at any time throughout the journey.

He still forgot to check the dimensions before carrying out the operations; as well as some other major errors. More practice should be done.

He did much better than last week. He pretty much understood the basic principles of matrix multiplication and also remembered now to check the matrices' dimensions before doing the multiplication (unlike last week)
He still made some errors in his calculations. Backchecking needed.
