What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

The opportunity to pass on the knowledge and experiences I have had throughout my High School career to younger students to make their journey easier and allow them to make more informed decisions for their future.

My Strengths as Tutor 💪

As someone who would make a lot of silly mistakes, I can sympathise with students who are struggling and am able to explain concepts in a more simplified manner, for example using analogies in their everyday life to help students gain a more holistic understanding of the concepts.

Most important things I can do for a student 🏅

Be patient with them and encourage them to do their best. Consistency is key and results don't just appear overnight, trust the process and at the end all anyone can ask of you is to do your best. Another big thing is to always be honest with them, whether that means admitting that you don't know something (but can find out for them) or letting them know if they are not putting enough effort in (and not just pretending that they are doing enough). Lastly, trust is another major factor that is essential between the two parties, as students are more inclined to listen and pay attention.
