What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

Sharing knowledge and helping students is what I enjoy most out of this Job. And secondly, knowing that I have made a positive difference in their academic career as well as general life advice is what I really look forward to as a tutor.

My Strengths as Tutor πŸ’ͺ

I offer student empowerment. This is to help students to understand and appreciate the importance of leadership and take charge in finding solutions which can help them through high school as well as university and further their career goals. Go through school curriculums and assist in improvements. Help them develop their own study programs. Interpreting the material to students in digestible ways. Assessing and working with students’ different abilities. Preparing students for exams and assessments. Offering advice and feedback to students and their families.

Most important things I can do for a student πŸ…

Be able to understand that not every student is the same. Everyone's unique and their learning styles are different, so approaching every student with the same method to teach is not a good idea. Making sure to recognize the strengths and weaknesses of each individual student and tutor according to their strengths and weaknesses. Finally, the most important is to make sure to empower them to actively look for solutions rather than spoon-feeding information as it wouldn't help them in the longer term. And applying an interactive style of teaching.
