I enjoy the challenge of tutoring as it both required on the spot thinking and also the sense of satisfaction when a student finally understands something they couldn't get a handle on with other external help.

My strengths of a tutor would be my ability to change teaching methods on the fly depending on the individual student/subject and situation, this has been clear from my previous numerous years of experience.

The most important things a tutor can do for a student is to be understanding; not all students learn the same and also conventional learning doesn't work for most students which makes them feel discouraged. Making a student know that there are other ways to learn and find a way around a situation would be the most important thing a tutor can provide for a student.
