What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

I enjoy tutoring because it allows me to help students reach their goals and motivate them on a personal and academic level. It amazes me to watch how energised a learner becomes once they have understood a previously difficult subject. It's heartwarming to see a child's determination and enthusiasm. I appreciate getting to know my students and learning about their lives. It gives me immense joy to acquire insight into their worldviews and perspectives on life. I can certainly state that I have learned as much from my students as they have from me.

I believe a tutor should possess excellent organisational, communication skills and good subject knowledge and Curriculum knowledge. It is important to understand the difficulty students go through in learning a particular subject. As a tutor we need to be patient. Above all, its the impact on children; we could be the reason a student develops a greater sense of purpose or self-esteem. we could help give a student confidence to pursue their field of interest with more conviction. If the student eventually achieves big and goes down in history, we will be the one that helped them get there.
