What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

I enjoy finding a way to enable the student to understand the question. As every child is different..... their way of learning is different. I will try to work with the student to find out their way of learning and apply that to the topic that they need help with.

My Strengths as Tutor 💪

As a person I am patient, caring and supportive. I will encourage the student to "have a go even if it is not correct". This will be a good starting point to work from. I will ask the student to explain "how they got that answer". This will give me a clue as to how they think. I will treat each student as individuals who all learn at their own pace. I will not push them to learn but instead will gradually try to increase their understanding of a topic using 'little steps to build their confidence".

Most important things I can do for a student 🏅

My main goal would be to help the student to increase their confidence in their own ability. All students need encouragement with all their attempts at learning how to deal with a problem. I have a keen interest in becoming a Tutor because I enjoy helping people to be the best they can be. This is especially important for children and young people. If a student understands the basic concepts of something they can build on this knowledge. It is like building a house if it has good foundations it can stand the tests of time. (a former teacher told me that once and I will always remember this).
