What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

I love it when a student is able to finally understand what they had previously been struggling with. The expression of relief on their faces when they realise they have cracked the problem is priceless. I really love when students become more and more confident in not only themselves and their academic ability, but also in a topic/subject they felt like they couldn't comprehend before and now have a stronger grasp on.

My Strengths as Tutor 💪

I am patient and I am attentive, allowing me to pinpoint the exact area of confusion and tailor my guidance/response to approach the problem in the easiest and most comprehensive way. I can adapt to the student's learning style. I am empathetic as I have experienced academic failure and know what the anxiety associated with not understanding academic content is like.

Most important things I can do for a student 🏅

I truly think empowering a student to ask questions is one of the most important things a tutor can do for a student. The confidence to ask questions leads to a student's ability to think for themselves. This combination is what allows maximum progress.
