What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁
I find tutoring to be a lot of fun and I especially like that tutoring encourages a two way discussion with the students and myself (its not just me talking to the student but, that they are equally contributing their own ideas and insights).
It's also a bonus that I enjoy the subjects I tutor and I always feel that I'm learning something as well.
Seeing the progress the student makes though the year is very rewarding and gives me a great sense of achievement and pride.
My Strengths as Tutor 💪
I'm enthusiastic and passionate about tutoring.
I am excellent at communicating complex ideas in ways that students can understand and have extensive knowledge around the topic areas.
I am friendly, approachable, accommodating and fun. All my students have appreciated me and my tutoring style.
I'm also always punctual, responsible and professional.
Most important things I can do for a student 🏅
I think the most important thing a tutor can do is to teach a student how to pursue their own studies, that is, if I can teach a student how to study without the need for a tutor, that's worth more than tutoring them the whole year and it will serve them well for the rest of their life.
An excellent tutor will keep their students motivated and passionate about their learning as well as keeping studying interesting, fun and engaging.
Good tutors will also provide knowledge about study techniques and better ways about how to learn effectively.
I consider I have all the above attributes.
