What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁
It can be really exciting to see students developing their knowledge over sessions, for instance with topics they found particularly hard/impossible and beginning to think about those topics in daily life and out of school.
My Strengths as Tutor 💪
As a tutor, I find that I can be good at finding new ways to explain concepts that may be harder to understand. It is crucial that content is explained in multiple ways to ensure the knowledge stays with them. I would make sure no one is left behind on prior knowledge.
Most important things I can do for a student 🏅
While tutors generally help those struggling with a certain subject, it's important to help the student see the excitement of the subject and become genuinely interested in the topics covered. The most important thing is displaying how the topics occur in real-life situations and applying their knowledge in a tangible way.
