My Strengths as Tutor 💪

Perhaps it's my ability to adapt my teaching methods to students, or the ability to understand what the student needs most at the time. For instance, sometimes it helps to bring the context of entertainment these students are fond of to teaching them. At other times, students needed the encouragement to find the strength within them to counter these problems that they never knew they could. Sometimes, I wonder if I have more strengths as a tutor, given that my students and their parents are very satisfied with my work. Perhaps a third person can explain better than I could.

Most important things I can do for a student 🏅

Aside from understanding the content to be taught, I believe that a tutor must have strong communication skills to understand the student. Simply tossing facts around would not help, these information has to be expressed in a form where the student can assimilate with ease and gain understanding from it instead of memorising it as it is. Furthermore, a tutor has acknowledge more than the academic problems the student have, but other problems as well, such as their attention span, level of confidence, or elements of distraction. Otherwise, the student may not benefit from the tutor at all.
