What do I enjoy most about tutoring? π
I enjoy the most when students are actually learning and improving. I am also motivated by students's active engagement when tutoring, for example asking questions in classes.
My Strengths as Tutor πͺ
I believe my strengths as a tutor include:
1. Communication skills: In finding out what problems a student face and delivering classes that can be understood and remembered easily.
2. Effective problem-solving skills: I always try to find solutions that are simple, yet effective for problems.
3. Patience: Some students may require a more in-depth explanation for a topic, and I am committed to making sure that they fully understand the topic.
Most important things I can do for a student π
For me, the most important things a tutor can do for a student are:
1. Able to identify the weak spots of a student in a unit/subject, because not only does it help build a stronger base for future learning, but also maximises the learning experience of the student.
2. Provide constructive feedback for a student, so he/she can continue improving outside of tutoring sessions.
3. Biilding connection with students, to encourage more active interactions for better learning outcome.
