My strengths include being someone older who has gone through the whole experience of undertaking tutoring to being a tutor itself—being able to emphasise with students about their concerns in their studies and external pressures.

The traits a good tutor should have are patience, creativity, and knowledgable. To be patient and understand that every student's mind operates and works differently thus it is essential to find different methods to ensure they are able to understand complex concepts and problems. It is also important to be knowledgeable in the field you are tutoring for any questions the student may have.
