What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

The biggest thing that draws me to tutoring is the aspect of interacting with the students to help them achieve their specific academic goals. I am a very goal driven individual and I receive a strong feeling of reward and accomplishment when I see my students succeed in meeting their goals at school.

My Strengths as Tutor 💪

My strengths as a tutor would definitely be patience. I try to be patient and understanding for the student since I've also experienced the extreme frustration of being stuck on one maths question for close to an hour. I am also a very willing learner myself and highly adaptable to different circumstances.

Most important things I can do for a student 🏅

I believe the most important thing a tutor can do is to help the student build their confidence, resilience and organisation skills. When my grades dropped in high school for certain subjects, I remember losing my confidence as a student. But a maths tutor that my parents connected me to helped me to regain my confidence once again. Through going through the problem sets together with him and repeating the same question, I was also able to build resilience and organisation skills. I believe that these are all very important things a tutor can do for their student.
