The moment when that topic or idea that a student is stuck on suddenly "clicks", and they understand it.

My Strengths as Tutor 💪

The synergy of my PASS and Private Tutoring experiences makes me well-equipped for various learning styles. As a university PASS leader, I wasn't required to teach university students directly. Rather, guide them toward the answers with prompting questions and hints. Combining this with my experience as a private tutor where I could directly explain and teach solutions. I will always start with a PASS approach to my tutoring (scientifically shown to be more beneficial for their learning) and use teaching and explaining where necessary to teach the student(s).

Most important things I can do for a student 🏅

- Help the students realise their potential/ability. - Explain to them that I have been in their position before (I'm not an "authority figure") but a model student. - Make the students see the fun in learning and academic achievements - Make the students feel like they have reached the answer more or less on their own.
