What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

In my opinion, being a tutor is one of the most rewarding jobs. Besides helping others to learn I also get the feeling of satisfaction when student understand and enjoy their studies. Moreover, I am excited to make friends with others since I believe that tutoring is not all about transferring knowledge but also to motivate and be friends with the students to help them feeling comfortable and appreciated.

My Strengths as Tutor 💪

In addition to having the knowledge I learned in high school and university, I am also passionate in teaching others. When I was in high school, my teacher told me to teach my friends and he ended up leaving a note in my report book saying that he was happy to have me helping others as my explanation was very clear and easy to understand. I was also chosen to teach English to the students in Indonesia and I managed to build a rapport with them resulting in their confidence to carry a basic conversation in English. Nevertheless, I am excited to gain more useful skills when tutoring at Ezy math.

Most important things I can do for a student 🏅

A tutor needs to work together with students for them to understand the topic and achieve the desirable marks. In order to do that, tutor should be very patient and kind when teaching even when students ask basic questions. Moreover, communication with parents also crucial as it helps them to understand their children' needs. A tutor have to be reliable with good time-management skills, also preparing materials beforehand to be able to be ready and confident when teaching. However, the most important is to make them feel excited when studying and make sure they understand the topics learned.
