I believe in teaching the students skills more than information. The saying goes, if you give a man a fish, you feed him for a day. If you teach a man to fish, you feed him for a lifetime, which is very close to my heart. I want my students to understand the problem and critically think about solutions rather than trying to copy-paste from memory. This means the students are improving their skill sets and I'm preparing them not just to ace an exam but more importantly, to be able to be smart with how they deal with anything in the future.
