What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

I enjoy seeing the realisation that someone has understood what you’re teaching then especially when it is a difficult concept such as advanced calculus in specialist mathematics.

I am adaptable and flexible. I make sure I have a wide range of ways to explain a topic or idea. I believe it is important to give real life applications when teaching so that what the student is learning feels meaningful and that they can actually apply it in the future.

Most important things I can do for a student 🏅

I believe the most important thing a tutor can do is be patient and understand the ways their students learn best. It’s not always easy to grasp new topics quickly so tutors should be able to stay calm and understand how their student learns in order to teach them effectively.
