What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

I enjoy working out how to explain concepts to the students in a way that they will be able to grasp and then explaining it and seeing the student finally understand the topic.

My Strengths as Tutor 💪

I have excellent time-management and organisation skills from simultaneously completing school work, casual work and the Duke of Edinburgh program. I can use these skills within tutoring to work through the required content efficiently and plan for upcoming sessions. I also have developed verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills that will enable me to effectively communicate with my students to teach the content and connect with them personally. Finally, I have developed problem-solving skills which I will implement to work out the best teaching approach for each student.

Most important things I can do for a student 🏅

I believe the most important thing a tutor can do for their students is to help them fully grasp the content and have a deep understanding of it rather than just rote learning the syllabus. This allows students to problem-solve independently and approach and solve many different types of questions. The students can then bring the skills they have learnt into their own personal lives to help them succeed in whatever they put their minds to.
