What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

The most enjoyable part of tutoring is helping younger students learn new information and achieve their goals. Seeing a kid grow and improve their mathematical abilities as a result of your commitment to them is an incredibly satisfying experience.

My Strengths as Tutor 💪

One of my biggest strengths as a tutor is my patience level. Having previously experienced the struggles of understanding new concepts in school, I have developed the patience to look towards long-term success over the short-term challenges all students will inevitably encounter in their studies. Another strength is the strong mathematical knowledge I possess. As I have achieved a band 6 in Ext 2 maths and am currently studying actuarial studies (a maths-heavy course), my mathematical problem-solving ability is extremely high, which I can use to guide students on the path to success.

Most important things I can do for a student 🏅

As a tutor, I believe the best way to support my students is to build healthy relationships by staying patient, to listen carefully to their concerns, and constantly checking in on their progress. Through doing so, it will foster better communication between us resulting in the student feeling more comfortable asking more questions and getting higher grades in the long-term.
