What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

I enjoy passing on my knowledge to those willing to learn and advance themselves in life. I believe education is the key to personal and societal growth, and relish the opportunity to be a part of it. Seeing students learn, grow and understand over time give me real satisfaction as a tutor/instructor.

My Strengths as Tutor 💪

I am a compassionate, personable and patient person. My strengths lie in connecting with the student personally and conveying information in a manner by which they will be able to comprehend. Everyone is different and learns differently, and I believe I bring an adaptive approach to instruction that suits the individual needs of each student. For example, while teaching English as a second language, I have over time received many comments from students that I have helped them to understand certain principles/topics they have previously been unable to comprehend.

Most important things I can do for a student 🏅

Connect and listen. A tutor must listen to the student and connect with them on a personal level to ensure they student is receiving the help they really need. It is easy for tutors/teachers to offer blanket explanations of a topic that may not be the most appropriate method of instruction for different individuals. Personalised instruction tailored to a students needs and style of learning are vital to a good educational relationship.
